Companion Pet Adoption: Liberation Revolution Hosted by Stray Rescue of St. Louis

It’s target when a dog ends up on the street.  Sometimes things happen that are out of our control but there is also neglect that causes for dogs or cats to become abandoned or strays.  Lets help out when and where we can.  There are many companion pets for adoption at the Stray Rescue of St. Louis.  On any given day they can have more than 300 dogs and cats that would love to be your friend.

Have you thought about adopting a pet?  If not then think about it.  Why wouldn’t a puppy be for you or a cat?  This could be the opportune time to bring home a new furry family member.  It’s just something to think about.

Stray Rescue will be hosting a mega-adoption event on Saturday, August 28th from the hours of 11:00 and 4:00.  Come out and have a look while you enjoy food, drinks and live music.

David Sanborn Live at the Jazz at the Bistro

If you know anything about smooth jazz then you have heard the smooth sounds of David Sanborn and his oh so groovy saxophone.  David will be performing live at the Jazz at Bistro this Monday and Tuesday.  The set times are 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

David Sanborn has been all over the world with his saxophone and is highly revered as one of the greatest saxophone players of all time.  This is a nice concert to bring your wife or girlfriend to fella’s so consider this as a special treat.  David Sanborn Trio featuring Joey DeFrancesco.

It’s time for the 2010 Missouri State Fair

The State Fair starts today, August 12th through August 22nd in Sedalia, Central Missouri.  Now, I already know what you’re thinking, Sedalia?  It’s only a three hour ride.  Plus the family-together-time in the car will help to create even more wonderful memories with each other.  It’ll be all worth it when you get to the Missouri State Fair and see what’s new like the Pepsi Grandstand, The Wizards Challenge or even the attraction on Science and Robotics.

You always have a great time at the State Fair and in Missouri there is no telling what’s bound to happen!  With so much good fun, contests and special events it’s no wonder why the theme is “Growing Great Memories.”

The Missouri State Fair is ideal for ages 3 & up.  Gates open at 7:30 am and close at 10:00 pm.  All ticket for Adults $8, Seniors $7 and Children 12 and under are free, with free parking as well.  It’s time for a day trip Caroline Place Apartments in St. Louis, MO.

Enjoy the Star Party Caroline Place,

On every First Friday Until October the Saint Louis Science Center has offered a Free Telescope Viewing for the public.
You might have already heard of the Star Party?

This telescope viewing is hosted by the St. Louis Astronomical Society on every first Friday of the month.  You can come out to the Star Party and have fun.  At the Star Party, weather permitting, you can walk around to any of the telescopes set up around the science center and watch the beautiful stars and ask the on hand staff any questions that you may have.

You can plan a pretty picnic but you cant predict the weather that’s why regardless to how outside circumstances are on the inside of the Planetarium’s Orthwein Starbay a popular program known as “The Sky Tonight” will be playing.  For the tenth year in a row now this program has been going on.

Visit Saint Louis Science Center to get see whats happening on the 4th of September.   This event ends in October.

St. Louis is a very pet friendly city, we are great for vacations that you can bring your pet along on.  Let’s face it St. Louis is just so welcoming and pet friendly that you may want to move here just for the enjoyment of your pet.
